They are now looking for a Credit Controller / Finance Assistant to join their friendly, close-knit team of three, in a role you can truly make your own. BENEFITS: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension contribution Free onsite parking Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to shape and improve processes within your role DUTIES: Take full responsibility for the credit control function, proactively chasing outstanding debt, maintaining strong customer relationships, and reducing aged debt to support healthy cash flow Set up new customer accounts, carrying out credit checks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place Manage the sales ledger, including raising invoices where required, allocating payments, resolving queries, and performing regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy Process and post daily cash and credit card receipts, ensuring timely and accurate allocation of funds to customer accounts Support purchase ledger activities, including processing supplier invoices, statement reconciliations, and assisting with payment runs Assist with weekly payroll processing, ensuring timesheets and payment details are accurate and submitted on time Perform regular bank reconciliations and support month-end processes, including ledger reviews and reporting assistance The successful candidate will have previous credit control and all-round accounts experience, within a fast-paced finance department.
