Wombourne and Codsall Leisure Centres are seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Duty Officer to assist with the operational management of Council leisure facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, customer care and health & safety, to lead shifts as the responsible member of staff on duty and providing supervision of leisure centre staff. The successful candidates will also contribute to the performance management of the Council’s health & fitness membership products by leading the team ensuring the appropriate sales and retention processes are followed. Hours of Work – Relief contract; involves evening and weekend working. It is essential that applicants have previous experience in, but not limited to, the operation of a leisure centre, knowledge of health & safety and risk assessments and Microsoft packages. A First Aid at Work Certificate is also essential for this position and will be required within 3 months of appointment. An enhanced disclosure check will be made through the Disclosure and Barring Service and this, or any other, offer of appointment is subject to a satisfactory clearance.
