Job Specification: Interim Financial Accountant
Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Financial Accountant to support our client in managing core financial operations and providing valuable insights to senior management. This role is ideal for an experienced accountant with expertise in P&L ownership, stakeholder management, and manufacturing sector knowledge, who is ready to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full ownership of P&L and Balance Sheet, including overseeing the month-end processes.
* Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management, demonstrating sound insights and recommendations.
* Ensure robust financial controls, including compliance with SOX or similar regulatory standards.
* Foster strong stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial priorities.
* Leverage Excel skills to manage financial data, reporting, and reconciliations effectively.
* Support audit processes and ensure adherence to corporate governance and financial processes.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Professionally qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Experience: Background in the automotive, aerospace, or broader manufacturing sectors.
* Proactive self-starter with excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Strong understanding or direct experience with SOX and financial control frameworks.
* Advanced Excel skills, capable of handling complex datasets and reporting requirements.
