About the role
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to begin work in September 2025. This role will be to provide 1:1 and small group support in the Foundation Unit (Nursery and Reception) and is based at a wonderful, supportive schol in the Wisbech area. This could be a full or part-time role.
The position would cover a variety of tasks including working in 1:1 and small group supporting roles with pupils who have different levels of need (including children with Education Health and Care Plans). You would also be supported to adopt a range of strategies to establish a purposeful learning environment and promote good behaviour.
We are looking for a strong but calm, creative, self-motivated and capable person to support individual needs, working very closely with the class teacher and SEND team. Experience of working in the Early Years is beneficial, as is working with children who have a range of needs.

Requirements:
1. Knowledge and/or experience of working with children with special educational needs
2. Teaching Assistant – Level 2 (& above considered)
3. To be patient, kind and resilient
4. To be willing to process or have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Salary
£90 to £100 per day.
