Job Description
The Accounts Assistant will be expected to:
3. Processing InvoicesMatching, batching, and coding purchase invoicesEnsuring timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems
4. Bank ReconciliationReconciling bank statements with internal recordsInvestigating and resolving discrepancies
5. Accounts ReceivableManaging supplier payments and customer receiptsChasing outstanding debts and maintaining aged debtor reports
6. Data Entry & Record KeepingMaintaining accurate financial recordsFiling and organizing financial documents
7. Assisting with Month-End and Year-End ProcessesSupporting the preparation of financial reportsAssisting with journal entries and accruals
8. VAT Returns and Compliance

The ideal Accounts Assistant will be someone who is willing to commit to a short term temp role of initially 4 weeks, with the view to extend that at the end of the initial period.
