Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Finishing Operative (Guillotine) to join our Finishing Team This role is based at our offices at Simonside, South Shields and will be full time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with additional optional overtime.

Your Role
As an experienced Finishing Operative (Guillotine), you'll play a crucial role in the final stages of print production. Your responsibilities will centre around ensuring quality, meticulous attention to detail, and efficient preparation for distribution.
Key responsibilities include:
Guillotine Operation:
Handling customer print orders, including prepress cut and final cut.
* Operating machinery, collaborating with both in-house teams and external providers.
* Maintaining equipment to the highest standards.
Quality Control:
* Meticulously inspecting received items, ensuring they meet established quality standards.
Equipment Maintenance:
* Maintaining equipment to the expected standard, performing regular maintenance and troubleshooting.
Deadline Adherence:
* Effectively prioritising of tasks to meet delivery schedules.
Attention to Detail:
* Attention to detail and quality will lead you to conduct rigorous checks on printed goods, delivering flawless end products.
Your Experience and Qualifications
* Previous Guillotine experience is required. We operate Polar and Perfecta machines but experience of other machines will be considered.
* Proficiency with various finishing equipment and techniques other than Guillotine is preferential but not required.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
