You could be based from a number of QinetiQ's UK sites; this position will involve regular travel and it allows for hybrid working. You will lead Q40 product sales globally, starting in Europe and then develop your own market in other territories.
Responsibilities
* Delivery of Q40 GNSS Product order intake number globally to meet strategic commitments of the business.
* Business planning for Q40 to support long term strategic planning (Integrated Strategic Plan), and accurate in year forecasting against that strategic plan.
* Development and implementation of a stretching but realisable GTM strategy for the Q40 based on tangible data and market opportunity to realise the long term strategic plan.
* Work with Product Management and engineering teams to ensure a realisable product roadmap enabling delivery of the GTM strategy.
* Lead the Q40 global product sales team with mentoring, coaching and ongoing development to ensure the necessary skills, capabilities and experience to deliver the GTM strategy and pipeline execution.
* Ensure coherent and driven sales campaigns are in place and enacted for each of our key accounts globally.
* Develop high level C-Suite engagement within target accounts in the critical application spaces for the Q40 GNSS receiver product line globally.
* Establish an optimal sales channel network that supports the desired orders and sales targets globally.
* Develop and implement a coherent partnering strategy for the Q40 product line including OEMs, Value Added Resellers, Distributors and Channel Partners as appropriate.
* Ensure alignment of the Q40 GTM strategy and sales channel network through peer level stakeholder engagements and reviews.
Experience & Qualifications
* Strong background of selling into complex weapons/guided mmunitions markets globally with a network of key stakeholders.
* Understanding of the defence PNT domain space and its application to vehicle systems and complex weapons.
* Proven track record in building/leading teams to create credible pipelines at scale with high conversion rates.
* Strategic thinking with ability to distill global market dynamics into executable Go-to-Market strategies.
* Experience in developing and implementing win strategies for large, complex deals and leading cross-functional teams.
* Leadership capable of mentoring senior professionals across a global matrix structure.
* Customer focus with ability to deliver value and build trust with stakeholders.
* Commercial acumen and ability to evaluate issues for growth and profitability.
* Resilience and ability to operate in challenging environments over extended periods.
* Experience collaborating across boundaries to achieve outcomes and maximize pipeline potential.
* Experience in selling into weapons/guided munitions markets globally with a strong stakeholder network.
* Global PNT domain experience in the defence arena and understanding of related application spaces.
* Proven track record in scaling a pipeline (around £50m) with high order conversion.
* Proven cradle-to-grave execution of win strategies for competitive tenders (over £5m).
* Experience building and leading global business development teams to implement compelling strategy and winning tender responses.
* Technical background related to Q40 product target application spaces, especially in complex weapons and test & evaluation.
* Ability to work in a complex matrix with influential leadership across stakeholders to implement GTM plans.
* Previous experience in PNT global product or solutions sales, through direct and indirect channels.
* Strong understanding of sales concepts, tools and principles, with ability to negotiate at senior levels.
* Coaching, facilitation and consultancy skills with proven team-building ability.
