We are seeking a dedicated Fire Door Manager to oversee all aspects of fire door safety, from installation and maintenance to ensuring full compliance with UK legislation.This role combines project management, technical expertise, and team leadership to ensure the highest safety and quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project & Contract Management: Manage fire door installation, inspection, maintenance, and remedial projects from start to finish.
2. Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all work meets British Standards (BS 8214, BS 9999), manufacturer specifications, and third-party certification schemes (BM Trada, FIRAS).
3. Team Leadership: Lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers; conduct toolbox talks and site inductions.
4. Inspections & Audits: Perform site inspections, quality assurance checks, and detailed audits.
5. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and maintain accurate compliance records.
6. Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as primary contact for clients, resolving issues and providing technical guidance.
