Role: Behaviour Support Assistant
The Behaviour Support Assistant role involves supporting groups of children with additional needs such as ASD, PMLD, MLD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will work within group and 1:1 settings with young people aged 5 to 16 years, who have varying levels of learning abilities.
Your daily routine will include adapting your support to help pupils make the most of their time in school. Your main goal is to support these pupils effectively and to ensure they are not displaying triggers or signs of unease.
Our primary aim is to provide the best support possible to pupils. Success in this role requires a nurturing, patient, and empathetic attitude.
