Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant
The Support Worker / Healthcare Assistant will be expected to help and assist the team with day-to-day routines including personal care and feeding.
The Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers must have at least 6 months experience in care and demonstrate compassion.
Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers will help with daily care tasks.

As a Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker, you will work under supervision of nursing staff alongside other healthcare assistants.
Your duties may include:
1. Helping patients with washing, showering, or dressing
2. Serving food or assisting with eating
3. Making and changing beds
4. Turning patients to prevent pressure sores
5. Talking to patients to reduce anxiety
6. Assisting with mobility
7. Managing bedpans and toileting
8. Maintaining a tidy ward or home environment
9. Managing supplies and equipment
Your daily work may involve using mobility aids and escorting patients between departments. With experience, you may assist in training new staff.
