We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £55,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Support the payroll team and wider payroll stakeholder group with the analysis of payroll data, identifying and escalating any omissions or errors
* Provide monthly management and payroll frequency reports along with payroll performance reporting
* Develop a detailed understanding of our payroll data requirements and become a subject matter expert for the reporting tools used
* Support and lead on continuous improvement and project activities to develop the payroll processes and reporting tools
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A solid background in payroll with a strong track record of working with large amounts of data and reporting, you’ll need to be a confident user of a data analytics tool such as Power BI, Google Analytics or Tableau, SQL knowledge & advanced MS Access. If you have knowledge of Java or Python knowledge this would be big tick for us!
* Familiarity of working with data lake/warehouse(s) with VBA knowledge to remove manual activity
* Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision
* Hands-on and in-depth experience of working with ADP Global View, SAP or similar payroll products
* Ability to coach and mentor
