Key Responsibilities
* Requirement Gathering: Work with stakeholders across the business to capture reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Data Modelling: Create efficient data structures and models to ensure reports are fast, accurate, and scalable.
* Insight & Analysis: Interpret data to identify trends and patterns, providing written or verbal summaries to help business users understand the "why" behind the numbers.
* Proactively recommend improvements based on data insights.
* Data Quality & Integrity: Apply rigorous validation and quality checks to ensure all Management Information (MI) is accurate and trusted by the business.
* Maintenance: Monitor and troubleshoot existing reports to ensure they refresh correctly and reflect the most up‑to‑date information.
About You
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical data concepts to non‑technical colleagues.
* Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and act as a reliable partner for their data needs.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment.
* Able to work on your own initiative and manage your own tasks effectively without constant direct supervision.
* A proactive approach to learning new features in Power BI and finding ways to make reporting more efficient.
* Willingness to document data logic and report definitions to ensure the team can support your work.

Technical Skills Required
* Power BI Development: Strong working knowledge of Power BI Desktop, including data modelling (Star Schema), writing DAX measures, and using Power Query (M) for data transformation.
* ETL Skills: Proficiency in extracting data from relational databases and performing basic data validation.
* Power BI Service: Experience using the Power BI Service to publish reports, manage workspaces, and configure scheduled data refreshes.
* Advanced Excel: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, VLOOKUPs/XLOOKUPs) and experience transitioning complex spreadsheets into automated Power BI dashboards.
* Data Integration: Ability to work with multiple data sources (Excel, SQL databases, Web APIs, etc.) and integrate them into a unified reporting view.
* Data Visualization: A good understanding of dashboard design best practices to ensure reports are clear, intuitive, and user‑friendly.

Salary & Benefits

Pre‑employment Checks
