We are seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to work within a SEND School in Milton Keynes. This role is ideal for graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Occupational Therapy, or support workers interested in developing their careers in mental health and education.
The position can start immediately or in September, depending on your circumstances. The school is particularly interested in candidates aspiring to become Education Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, or Occupational Therapists.
Role Details:
1. Supporting pupils with SEMH, Autism, and behavioral challenges.
2. Engaging in a rewarding role that contributes to children's development and well-being.
3. Commitment to at least 12 months to ensure consistency for students.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Graduate or about to graduate in relevant fields such as Psychology, Criminology, or Occupational Therapy.
* Some experience working with children in various settings is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong personality, motivation, and a passion for working with children with additional needs.
