Salary: £25,560 per annum

About The Role
We are seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic Horticulture and Well-Being Coach to join our social enterprise at Navigation House, working to provide learning and skills development for people with learning disabilities, learning difficulties and Autism. With our people at the centre of everything that we do, the role involves delivering accredited/non-accredited training and involving them in the growing of produce for use at Stepping Stones NI catering sites.
With an enterprising horticultural approach, the post holder will also assist in delivering a programme of horticultural and wellbeing workshops for the public to generate income.
In addition, the postholder will also assist with the operation of the site’s conference, meeting and event space.
This postholder will have a positive and creative persona and be a passionate advocate of the mission and values of Stepping Stones NI.

Desired Criteria
* Experience of delivering horticulture training to a wide variety of groups and abilities
* Experience in delivering well-being training
* Experience of event management
* Current Full UK driving license. The post-holder may be occasionally required to travel to other SSNI locations and to external stakeholder premises. (Alternative transport methods will be considered for those who have a disability and cannot obtain a driving license)
Required Criteria
* A horticulture qualification or qualification that is deemed to be relevant to the needs of the post
* At least one years’ experience working in a horticultural environment
* Display an understanding of how to support people with learning disabilities
* Ability to work and drive a team and work effectively with partners
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and sensitively
* Excellent IT skills good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Outlook packages
* Good social media skills
