Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – £50,000

🕒 Hours: Monday to Thursday (16:00 - 02:00am) & Off Fridays
We are working with a prestigious client who is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee mechanical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and general building services for a large site near Temple Station. In return, you’ll receive a competitive salary between £47,000 - £50,000, clear career progression, generous overtime, and a supportive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Carry out daily PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
Respond promptly to emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently
Maintain and repair HVAC plant, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, VRV systems, and water treatment equipment
Work on general building maintenance tasks as required, including pumps, boilers, drainage, and plumbing
Conduct fault-finding and repair on key mechanical systems
Operate and manage BMS (Building Management System) and Head End ControlsRequirements:
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Must have L8
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose faults effectively
5 years + as a mechanical engineer in an office or similar environment
Must be willing to learn and have a positive attitude to taking on tasks/learning on the job
Has excellent fault-finding skills. - Majority of the fault finding will be done at night time
Has experience in changing parts on FCU e.g. fixing valves, actuators, motors.
