About the Job
The Registered Nurse:
* Provides nursing care to Long-term Care patients, working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
* Enhances quality of life for patients and families; collaborates with healthcare providers
* Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing
* Maintains and advances own clinical competence
* Participates in hospital committees, teams, and research projects as assigned
This is a Casual opportunity. Casual employees are not guaranteed hours and may work from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
Shifts will be scheduled nights, rotating from 15:00 to 23:00 hours.

The Dr. F.W. Green Home is a 60-bed long-term care facility with a patient-centered philosophy supporting residents’ choices and providing high-quality care. It includes private rooms with washrooms, kitchens, dining areas, and various programs to engage residents, such as outings, activities, and exercises. Facilities include lounges, recreation areas, laundry, secure zones, an elevator, and a hairdressing room.
