A Day in the Life of a Maintenance Team Member at Our Hotel
* Support our hotel’s high standards, ensuring every guest space, facility, and behind-the-scenes area operates flawlessly and looks pristine
* Work as part of the maintenance team, cultivating a proactive and hands-on approach to repairs, upgrades, and day-to-day operations that support a smooth guest experience
* Participate in a preventative maintenance programme, extending the life of equipment and facilities to avoid unexpected interruptions and keep everything running like clockwork
* Swiftly address maintenance needs, from emergency repairs to room upgrades, delivering a reliable and safe environment for guests and staff alike
* Using best practices and providing an efficient, high-quality service
* Keep up-to-date with the latest tools, technology, and maintenance techniques to bring fresh ideas and innovations to the property, enhancing both function and form
What We Need From You
* Solid experience in a maintenance or engineering management role, ideally within hospitality or a similar setting
* Previous experience in painting is desirable
* Expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Organisational and multitasking abilities to juggle a range of responsibilities and respond quickly to urgent issues
* Flexibility to respond to urgent repairs, including availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
* A passion for maintaining a safe, well-functioning environment that enhances the guest experience
