Location: Birmingham- 2/3 days per week in the office
Salary/Rate: £214 per day inside IR35

Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading energy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled HR Advisor to join their team for a six-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
* To work in partnership with the HRBP to deliver HR interventions and change projects associated with the programme of work and/or People Plan.
* Implement changes in HR policy and procedure in a consistent manner at a local level.
* Interpret MI in order to identify trends and work with local leaders to implement changes to working practice.
* Provide HR support for local leaders in the identification and development of talent, and support the development of robust succession planning.
* Support consultation with Trade Unions and Business Forums within local areas of responsibility.
* Support the engagement of employees at a local level.
* Coach local leaders to become self sufficient in the application of people processes.
* Providing HR support for local leaders on organisational change, driving good quality outcomes for the individual and the business.
* Manage people processes effectively ensuring use of information channels such as HR Online and compliance with policy, processes & contractual agreements.
* Support cross-department, cross-region and cross-unit HR projects.
* Support managers deal with complex employee relations cases
Required Skills/Experience
* HR Change Management and HR projects (Organisational Design & Development, TUPEs, Restructures & redundancy programmes etc).
* HR knowledge and experience of delivering an end-to-end generalist HR service (including Employee Relations, Reward, L&D & Talent Management)
* Experience of stakeholder management at all levels, able to tailor own approach in order to engage and influence stakeholders
* including coaching leadership teams.
* Interpret MI in order to identify trends and work with leaders to implement changes to working practice.
* Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* Professional communication skills with the ability to continuously look for improvements and inspire others.
* Relevant knowledge of UK Employment Law and Consultation requirements.
* Proactive attitude, coupled with the ability to focus and prioritise in high workload periods.
* Ability to understand complicated issues, see trends and patterns and produce innovative solutions
* Self-sufficient and able to work with remote management but adept at identifying relevant sources of advice and assistance.
* Ability to make decisions effectively within broad policy guidelines
* Ability to travel nationally to different sites when required
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
* Fully qualified CIPD member.
* Commercial knowledge and business acumen.
* Understanding of processes and activity splits, e.g. between functional units and regional units.
* Experience of thinking strategically and developing people plans (either shorter term tactical, or longer term strategic)
