Job Description
Accounts Assistant duties include:
3. Providing business and financial administration support to the Finance Director
4. Assisting with the end-to-end management of the accounts payable function including inputting invoices into the financial accounting system (Xero)
5. Assisting with the management of employee expenses ensuring that these are entered and reimbursed in a timely manner
6. Operating the company's project operating system (Harvest) and assisting with timesheet recording for our consultants
7. Supporting the accounts receivable process to ensure accurate and efficient income generation
8. Input into periodic reporting (financial, management and operational performance)
9. Liaising with the HR team in relation to new starters and leavers
10. Providing support to the Finance Director and the wider team as required
11. Supporting ad hoc finance projects as needed
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Accounts Assistant' should have:
12. A proven track record in a similar role.
13. Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
14. Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
15. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
16. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
