Part-Time Housekeeping Supervisor

We're looking for a confident, hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor who leads from the front and takes real pride in high standards. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys organising people, setting the pace, and making sure everything is done properly — on time and to spec.
The Harty Estate (part of the BB4 Group) is a growing, family-run business based in Kent. You'll be working across The Ferry House & Mocketts Farm Cottages, a stunning wedding and events destination featuring:
* 11 luxury 4★ hotel rooms
* 5 self-catering cottages
* 2 Wedding & Events Barns, 2 bars, 2 lounges, and bridal getting-ready spaces

What you'll be doing:
* Supervising a team of up to 8 housekeeping staff to ensure deadlines are met
* Ensuring all rooms, cottages, and public areas meet our quality standards
* Allocating tasks, managing workloads, and keeping the team on track
* Training new team members, setting expectations from day one
* Preparing wedding barns, bridal prep rooms, and event spaces to be flawless for each event
* Leading by example — maintaining standards through your own work as well as others
* Daily organisation of your team to ensure all works are completed to standard and on time. We work with strict deadlines to ensure a high level of customer service.
* Performance reporting to your manager.
* Ensuring your team members are treated with respect at all times, and appreciated for their hard work, you will act in accordance with our company values at all times.
The practical information:
* Part-time hours 25 to 30 p/w - 4 Shifts a week
* Standard shift: 06:00–12:30
* Alternative shift: 09:30–15:30 (not regular)
* Days: 1 weekend day per week plus 1 weekday
* Shift notice: Rotas issued approx 6 months in advance.
* Driving essential – you'll work across two nearby sites (just 5 minutes apart)
