Job Summary
Soho Square General Practice is looking for a salaried GP to join on a fixed 3‑month contract (January‑March 2026). The role is 1 day per week (Tuesday–Friday) with additional sessions agreed with the candidate. The GP will provide GP care to registered patients, focus on QOF targets, work closely with the Clinical Lead to achieve these goals.
Responsibilities
* Provide NHS general medical services to registered patients on the practice list.
* Deliver all core primary care services as defined by the local ICB and NHS England requirements (consultation sessions, telephone triage, online consultation, home visits).
* Investigate, examine, treat and diagnose or refer medical problems presented by patients.
* Provide preventative health care and advice.
* Adhere to the practice prescribing formulary, local and national guidelines.
* Action test results, medical reports and examinations as necessary.
* Complete necessary clinical administration and work as part of a team to deliver QOF, enhanced services and KPI targets.
* Engage with NHS annual strengthened appraisal, PDP production, GMC revalidation and ongoing CPD.
* Comply with practice policy or guidelines, including data protection, health and safety, QOF and prescribing confidentiality.
Qualifications
* GMC Registered
* GP Performers List
* MRCGP examination or equivalent
* Qualified within last 2 years
* Not held substantive contract since qualification

Soho Square General Practice is a friendly NHS GP Practice based in Central London, just off Oxford Street and close to Tottenham Court Road Station. We currently have a patient population of 6,500 and serve an ethnically diverse urban patient population, including a significant cohort of LGBT+ and Chinese patient groups.
