The Executive Director of Internal Communications, Employee Engagement & Change Management will lead and execute BeOne’s internal communications strategy and drive employee engagement, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities and supporting further development of a strong company culture. This role will oversee messaging, platforms, and campaigns that connect employees to the company’s mission and vision, ensuring communications are measurable, agile, and impactful. In addition, this individual will work closely with HR, supporting change management programming as needed.
Reporting to the SVP, Head of Corporate Communications, the incumbent will work closely with the CEO, Executive Team, HR, and Communications leaders, developing initiatives that foster understanding, collaboration, and storytelling across the organization. The ED will provide strategic counsel on high-priority initiatives and champion employee engagement programs. They will also enhance BeOne’s employer brand through digital and social channels, integrating leadership communications and corporate reputation goals.
This role is critical to fostering a cohesive and engaged workforce while enhancing BeOne’s reputation as an innovative and inclusive employer.
A location commutable to our Cambridge, MA office on a hybrid schedule is
most preferred, but will consider other applicants located on the East Coast.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement a strategic internal communications plan aligned with corporate objectives.
2. Manage and modernize communication channels to improve accessibility, collaboration, and engagement.
3. Lead the creation of compelling content, including key messages, FAQs, intranet updates, and editorial features.
4. Plan and execute strategic events that promote dialogue and knowledge-sharing among employees – e.g. Town Halls, Global Awards, CEO internal engagements.
5. Act as the central point for global announcements and strategic updates.
6. Guide strategic communication responses during crises to protect organizational perception and reputation.
7. In collaboration with HR, provide strategic leadership of enterprise-wide change comms.
8. Track and analyze communication metrics to refine strategies and demonstrate impact.
9. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic counsel and thought leadership.
Education Required:
10. Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field.
Qualifications:
11. BA/BS with 15 + years of corporate/internal communications experience, including 5+ years in the pharma or biotech sector.
12. Proven success in leading internal communications strategies that align with business goals.
13. Expertise in internal communications, employee engagement, change management, and internal communication platforms.
14. Skilled in advising executive leaders and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
15. Strong storytelling and writing abilities with a focus on digital and social media integration.
16. Collaborative team player with excellent judgment, critical thinking, and the ability to influence across all levels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
17. Ability to work with C-Suite executives.
18. Ability to direct teams in a matrix environment.

Salary Range: $215,400.00 - $295,400.00 annually

Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
