What you’ll do:
Support administration of health, safety and environment activities to mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments, and provide employees with a safe and healthy working environment in line with the business plans and requirements, corporate guidelines and policies
Key Role Responsibilities:
* Under supervision, support health, safety and environment plans and processes to provide employees a safe and healthy work environment
* Comply with established procedures to support health and safety frameworks and policies across the operations, facilities and employees to comply to health and safety standards, laws and relevant regulations
* Under supervision support policies and practices to identify/ mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace
* Undertake generally repetitive tasks to detect potential workplace hazards, unsafe equipment, work practices and working conditions
* Support general admin tasks related to inspections of grounds, facilities and premises, detect areas of non-adherence and risks of injuries/ job-related threats as per the laid down policies and standards
* Assist in reporting initial analysis on potential causes and measures based on investigations of job-related injuries and fatalities
* Comply with established procedures to support recording of workplace injuries, illness and absences to identify areas of concern and provide information required by regulatory agencies
* Classify basic information and suggested prevention measures related to causes of accidents
* Resolve recurring routine issues and support enhancements related to health, safety and environment work methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency
