Maintenance Engineer

£49503 base, average package is £56410 with minimum overtime - £60k easily achievable
Day Shift with some nights and the odd weekend
Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's biggest and best-known Manufacturing firms based in Lurgan to assist them with the recruitment of a x2 Maintenance Engineers.

Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer;
1. Planning and scheduling of maintenance works to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimize downtime
2. Carry out electrician and mechanical maintenance. This will include reactive breakdown and preventative maintenance of conveyor belt systems, shredders, balers and separation equipment.
3. Work with equipment suppliers on new equipment and installations and modifications
4. Troubleshooting using PLC programs
5. General site maintenance of other specified equipment to ensure plant is available and runs efficiently.
6. Closely monitor line and machine performance
7. Preventative and Predictive maintenance routines
As a Maintenance Engineer, ideally you will have;
8. Qualified in either Mechanical or Electrical
9. Ideally you will have 2 years+ experience within FMCG
10. Conversant in the English language both written and verbal
11. Clear and strong communication skills
