Job Description
A leading FMCG manufacturer in North Wales is looking for SHE Manager to take ownership of the Environmental, Health, and Safety strategy across their operating sites (c.350 people in total)
The successful SHE Manager will ideally have demonstrable experience within a manufacturing or automated distribution environment. You will hold a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), IEMA environmental certificate and experience with ISO 14001/45001 systems (internal or lead auditor experience is a plus).
Most importantly, you will bring energy and passion and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to challenge and support managers to ensure safe ways of working are understood and followed
SHE Manager responsibilities include:
1. Culture & Engagement: Developing EHS "operational champions" and implementing measurable staff engagement projects.
2. Strategic Leadership: Creating and delivering the company EHS strategy while managing the functional budget.
3. Environmental Stewardship: Promoting sustainable operations by identifying energy efficiencies, resource consumption improvements, and waste minimisation.
4. Compliance & Risk: Ensuring robust Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work are in place, alongside managing ISO 14001/45001 standards.
