Job description
Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for a Humanities Teacher to work in a Secondary School in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is to start after Easter and run for the rest of the academic year, with a view to go permanent. You will be expected to have good classroom management skills.
A successful applicant will have a teaching qualification with QTS, and will have previous experience teaching Humanities. If you are applying as an ECT, you must have a specialist qualification in Humanities. Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as some training is provided.
Prospero Teaching provide staff to schools and colleges across Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, including SEN schools. We are currently looking to fill a Humanities Teacher role in Stoke-on-Trent. The strongest applicant will have good knowledge of Humanities at GCSE level.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
11. Teaching qualification with QTS
12. Previous experience working in a UK school
13. Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
14. Hold Right to Work in the UK
15. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
16. Provide two professional child related references
