What you will do
Wash Bay Operative
£12.81 per hour - 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, occasional Saturday as required
Hours: 0800 to 1700 with 1-hour unpaid break
We will also provide training for additional forklift truck duties
Responsibilities:
* Wash down, operate pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment to clean vehicles
* Keep the wash bay clean and free from debris
* Empty rubbish and recycling bins around the wash bay
* Clean spills or accidents
* Safely apply industrial cleaning chemicals at appropriate levels
* Keep cleaning chemical supplies stocked
* Maintain cleaning equipment in full working order and report repairs needed
* Complete daily tasks as specified by supervisors
* Properly store and secure equipment and materials when not in use
* Perform regular maintenance on cleaning equipment for proper and safe operation
* Remove hazards and promote a health and safety-compliant environment
This role will be dirty and wet, working outside in all weather conditions in the wash bay area. Training for forklift duties will be provided.
