Senior Physiotherapist –Hand Therapy &MSK

Weare seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join our friendly andforward-thinking Outpatient Therapy Team at Fitzwilliam Hospital.This role is ideal for a clinician witheither:
* Previous experience in an MSKoutpatient clinic, with existing knowledge and clinical skillsspecific to hand and wristrehabilitation
* OR
* Amotivated MSK clinician eager to develop into Hand Therapy with thesupport of our experiencedteam
Experience insplinting is preferable for those already working within a handtherapysetting.
Asa Senior Physiotherapist, you will provide high-quality assessmentand specialised treatment for an adult caseload, includingpost-operative MSK and hand/wrist conditions. This is a rewardingand varied role covering:
* Sub-acutetrauma
* Elective post-operativecare
* Acquired hand/wristconditions
* Complex conditionmanagement
Youwill carry out assessments, interventions (including splinting andrehabilitation), and evaluations using a variety of techniques andtools tailored to each patient. A sound knowledge of exerciseprescription and functional occupational performance is essentialfor delivering effectiveoutcomes.
KeyResponsibilities
* Undertakecomprehensive assessment and treatment of hand and upper limbconditions
* Manage post-operative andconservatively treated MSK conditions within a structured rehabplan
* Develop tailored exercise programmes andfunctional rehabilitation plans
* Evaluatepatients’ occupational performance and support return to dailyactivities or work
* Maintain accurate andthorough clinical documentation
* Workcollaboratively with Consultants, GPs, and multidisciplinarycolleagues
* Contribute to service development,clinical audit, and mentoring of juniorstaff

* HCPC-registeredPhysiotherapist
* Proven MSK outpatientexperience, with an interest or background in hand/wristrehabilitation
* Willingness to develop into ahand therapy specialist if not already in a specialistrole
* Competence in splinting (preferred forhand therapy applicants)
* Strong communication,documentation, and clinical reasoning skills
* Ateam player with a patient-focused approach and a commitment toCPD
* Confidence with exercise prescription andgoal-basedrehabilitation
