This role in Basingstoke is ideal for a confident Reception Supervisor ready to progress, or an experienced Head Receptionist looking to develop within a supportive and professional team.Working in a quality-driven environment near Basingstoke, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the Reception Manager and leading a small, dedicated team.Please note, the hotel is set in a rural location, so access to your own transport is essential.

Key Responsibilities: As Head Receptionist, you'll support the smooth running of the front desk and guest experience:
* Deliver a warm, professional welcome and ensure outstanding guest service
* Handle enquiries, requests and complaints efficiently and to a high standard
* Train, motivate and develop the reception team
* Assist with rota planning, task allocation and team performance
* Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless operations
* Ensure all front office procedures and standards are followed
What we're looking for: To succeed as Head Receptionist, you'll bring the following:
* Previous experience as a Head Receptionist or Reception Supervisor
* A positive, solutions-focused approach to challenges
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
* A flexible, hands-on attitude in a busy hotel environment
* A genuine passion for delivering excellent guest service
* Ability to work a mixture of early and late shifts (40 hours per week)
