Private Client Solicitor – Barnsley
This well-established law firm is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Wills, Probate and Private Client Solicitor to join its team. This role is ideal for a Solicitor with experience in private client matters who is looking to grow and develop their career within a nurturing environment.
About the Private Client Solicitor Role:

* Part-time (21-28 hours per week), with the potential to transition to full-time as the caseload grows

* Flexible, office-based position with adjustable core hours to accommodate wider commitments

* You will work directly with the Head of Department, while also building your own caseload and client base
\t
* The role involves supervising and developing an administrative assistant, fostering leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:
\t
* Drafting and preparing Wills, applications for Grant of Probate/Representation and Powers of Attorney using online applications with OPG, HMCTS and HMLR
\t
* Managing client communication, both in-person and remotely, maintaining high standards of service
\t
* Undertaking fee-earning work with supervision, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation
\t
* Managing your own caseload, diary and administrative duties
\t
* The firm are seeking an experienced and proactive Private Client Solicitor, confident in preparing legal documents and delivering top-tier client service
\t
* Experience in a Wills, Probate, or Private Client role is essential, along with compliance with LEXCEL accreditation
\t
* A commitment to pursuing further qualifications such as STEP certification is a plus
