Parkhill is looking to add a Structural Professional Engineer to the team. In this role you will be working alongside our MEP/S team creating innovative designs to improve our communities. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest. We have 13 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
Responsibilities
* Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review.
* Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently.
* Interface with clients when appropriate alongside project managers.
* Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications.
* Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents.
* Mentor others in the proficient use of design software.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering.
* Passed the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE license number.
* Minimum of 10 years of structural building design experience in a consulting role.
* The ability to use Revit/BIM is preferred.
