University of Gloucestershire / South Gloucestershire and Stroud College / Hartpury College / Royal Agricultural University

£28 + £3.38 accrued holiday pay

Working hours: Part-time, flexible hours

BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA

Are you passionate about supporting neurodiverse learners and making a real difference in their academic journey? Randstad Student Support is seeking a dedicated Specialist Mentor to provide individualized support at the University.


Position description / Job description

* Build strong, empathetic relationships with students.
* Develop and implement personalized support plans.
* Provide high-quality mental health guidance and support.
* Collaborate with support staff to ensure holistic student care.
* Contribute to a thriving student community.
* Make a real difference in young people's lives.
* Work in a flexible, supportive environment.
* Guide and support students, fostering their growth and success.


Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

* Relevant professional body registration (e.g., BACP, BPS, HCPC, NCPS, NMC, SWE, SCW, UMHAN, or COSCA).
* Experience supporting students' or young adults' mental health.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport easily.
* Proven ability to develop and implement effective support plans.
* A bachelor's degree is advantageous.
