Description About the Team Our purpose is to harness digital technology as a strategic enabler for Cancer Council SA, transforming how we engage with clients, donors and partners to maximise impact and reach. About the Role The Data & Insights Specialist plays a critical role in enabling supporter/client engagement, campaign success, and data-informed decision-making across the organisation. Working closely with the Digital, Fundraising and Marketing teams as well as other departments across the organisation, this role ensures supporter/client data in Salesforce is accurate, well-segmented, and effectively leveraged for journey-based engagement through platforms like Ortto. With a strong focus on data quality, insights generation, and cross-functional collaboration, the position delivers smarter engagement strategies that grow donations, improve project targeting, increase campaign participation, and enhance overall supporter experience. Skills And Experiences About You Hands-on CRM experience (Salesforce preferred) in marketing/fundraising contexts Strong data analysis and reporting skills; confident using tools like Excel/Power Query/SQL/Python/R to clean, reshape and merge datasets Proven campaign segmentation experience and data‑driven strategy mindset High attention to detail and problem‑solving in data environments Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences Understanding of data privacy and consent requirements (bonus: not‑for‑profit/health sector experience and familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Ortto) The role is being offered as a full-time position.
