As a Social Worker in ANT, you will carry out Care Act assessments, Mental Capacity Act work, and safeguarding enquiries, while working directly with individuals, families, and networks of support. The role is about delivering practical, person-centred interventions that make a tangible difference to people’s daily lives. This could involve supporting someone to develop daily living skills, navigate services, or strengthen links within their community. What makes ANT different is that it is still developing which means you will have the chance to help shape how the service grows. Your ideas and creativity will be welcomed, and you will be part of a supportive, motivated team that values inclusion, collaboration, and reflective practice. You will benefit from a thorough induction, regular supervision, and fortnightly reflective meetings, all designed to support your development and practice confidence. You will be committed to working alongside people to achieve positive outcomes, using a blend of creativity, resilience, and problem solving. You will be joining a service where no two days look the same, and where the work you do has a direct and visible impact. Professional development: In Worcestershire, we take learning and development seriously. Through our Social Work Academy, you will have access to CPD opportunities, peer learning, and specialist programmes. There is scope to progress into roles such as Best Interests Assessor, Practice Educator, or AMHP, and we actively encourage career development across the organisation. Why join us: You will be joining a forward thinking team that values creativity and professional judgement. There is no long term case management as our focus is on short to medium term, impactful interventions. Regular reflective practice sessions help to build confidence and resilience. You will be working within a culture of inclusion and collaboration where your contribution is recognised.
