A large and well-structured 11–16 secondary school in Sheffield is seeking a diligent and compassionate Attendance & Pastoral Administrator to join its established pastoral team. The Role As Attendance & Pastoral Administrator, you will work closely with the Attendance Lead, Heads of Year and Safeguarding Team to ensure accurate record keeping and timely intervention. Your responsibilities will include: • Monitoring daily attendance using SIMS (or equivalent MIS) • Contacting parents regarding absence and recording reasons accurately • Producing weekly attendance reports for Heads of Year • Supporting early help referrals and safeguarding documentation • Coordinating meetings with parents and external agencies • Maintaining confidential student records in line with GDPR • Assisting with penalty notice and local authority correspondence You will play a proactive role in identifying attendance patterns and supporting early intervention strategies.
