Portfolio Analyst - Central Portfolio Worcester based with a balance of home and office working £38,761 - £40,801 per year 35 hours per week We have an opportunity for a Portfolio Analyst to join our Central Portfolio team, based in Worcester.This job sits within the Technology Delivery which is responsible for delivering Technology capability within Sanctuary Group, to ensure employees have access to the systems they need to perform their duties. The role of Portfolio Analyst is to ensure effective and efficient delivery of Portfolio services, including, planning, demand & resource management, programme assurance and providing high quality reporting. The role of Portfolio Analyst- Central Portfolio will include: Providing programmes with high quality assurance and support The development and maintenance of appropriate tools and best practice processes to aid the effective delivery and coordination of the Portfolio Providing high quality management information and analysis to all stakeholders on the Technology Portfolio, as well as specific programmes or projects Working with a variety of stakeholders within Technology and the wider Sanctuary Group Supporting planning and resource management across the department to ensure the completion of strategic objectives Maintaining Risk & Issue information across the portfolio Establishing standardised processes across the portfolio Working closely with Programme Management team Provide guidance and training to the project delivery community and other stakeholders on PMO best practice Skills and experiences: Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification Recent experience of undertaking a similar role Proven experience of delivering services for a Portfolio, including medium to large scale projects/programmes Working knowledge of producing progress reports and management information Good organisational, project management and planning skills Intermediate user of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Working knowledge of Visio, Project and Teams Why work for us?
