Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, self‑motivated, multidisciplinary Field Service Engineer to complement their professional team and provide the highest levels of technical customer service and satisfaction in the installation, service, repair and technical supporting of a range of automated laboratory equipment that support Clinical and Industrial markets in the Oxfordshire region.
Key Responsibilities
* Undergo initial in‑house training and ongoing training courses to maintain and enhance knowledge.
* Undertake installation, planned preventative service, reactive repair and technical support activities for customers including hospitals, laboratories and FMCG clients.
* Manage vehicle stock inventory efficiently and ensure activities are completed on time and to the highest accuracy with supporting documentation.
* Assist with project work when required to ensure deadlines are achieved.
* Provide customer on‑call support as part of the service team rota.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, relevant industry regulations, legislation (including Health and Safety at Work), and maintain SSOW on site.
Qualifications
* Live in or around the Oxford area, hold a full UK driving licence.
* Graduated at least ONC level or above in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
* Minimum 3 years experience in a comparable service or maintenance environment (laboratory or medical equipment experience advantageous).
* Excellent communication and customer service skills at all levels.
