We're seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR professional with strong business partnering experience to join our team. In this role, you'll build credible and influential relationships with senior leaders while championing our people strategy across the organisation. You'll bring a passion for driving culture and engagement, along with proven ability in change management, stakeholder management, and working within unionised environments. With a customer‑centric mindset and a track record of supporting cultural transformation, you'll play a key role in shaping an inclusive, high‑performing workplace where our people can truly thrive.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
* As part of your normal duties, you will support a fantastic team of colleagues – circa 350
* Partner with site leadership to develop and implement effective HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Provide expert guidance on absence management, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
* Foster colleague engagement through initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
* Manage a high caseload of employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
* Collaborate with union representatives to maintain strong working relationships and resolve any arising issues.
* Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
* Facilitate training and development programs to enhance colleague skills and support career progression.
* Act as a trusted advisor to management and colleagues on HR-related matters.
