As part of the Business Services and Outsourcing team, you will play a key role in delivering value‑creating solutions such as accounting, payroll, and compliance services, and will help integrate our wider service offering across BDO both domestically and internationally. You will build deep and meaningful relationships with clients, from entrepreneurial SMEs to large multinational groups, and open doors for other BDO teams to expand our practice.
You’ll work proactively to manage your own tasks while collaborating confidently with senior managers, directors, and BDO partners to serve our clients effectively. You will identify and highlight opportunities for enhancing our delivery and for providing additional services to clients.
Step into the role of Strategic Resourcing Solutions Consultant within our Strategic Resource Solutions team. You will deliver accounting and consultancy services with precision and independence, acting as a key member of the client’s finance team and ensuring project delivery. You will bring comprehensive business knowledge by analysing client data, making informed recommendations, and discussing issues such as trading positions, future outlooks, and legislative changes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver accounting and consultancy services with precision and independence.
* Act as a trusted advisor to the client’s finance team, providing accurate data analysis and clear recommendations.
* Maintain strong, long‑lasting relationships with clients, collaborating with senior BDO personnel to enhance service delivery.
* Identify opportunities for increasing value, additional services, and process improvement for the client.
Qualifications and Experience
* Industry or practice‑qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or equivalent experience.
* Solid accounting knowledge with experience in accounts preparation and outsourced accounting.
* Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
* Strong knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, VAT, PAYE, and company secretarial procedures.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant in‑house packages.
