Job Title: HGV Technician Location: Wrexham LL14 Salary: £46,000 £50,000 per annum (depending on experience) Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off Working Hours: 6:00am 6:00pm4 shifts On-Call Requirement: Overnight on-call once every 2 weeks Job Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Technician to join our team at our Wrexham site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnosis of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring the fleet is kept to the highest safety and compliance standards. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults Ensure all vehicles meet DVSA and company safety standards Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately On call -Respond to overnight on-call breakdowns once every two weeks paid extra for this. Work collaboratively with the workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Proven experience working as an HGV Technician Strong hydraulics experience (essential) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential) Good attention to detail and a strong safety mindset What We Offer Competitive salary of £46,000 £50,000 Consistent 4 on / 4 off shift pattern for excellent work-life balance Overtime and on-call payments (where applicable) Stable, long-term employment Supportive working environment with well-maintained equipment Please apply with your cv for a conversation
