Reference\u202FGRAD-APPRENTICE/26\u202Fin a covering email and send your CV to: jobs@learnprogroup.com How does a GA compare to a typical job or degree route? \n\nAs a full-time GA, you study the same subjects as those completing a traditional full-time software development undergraduate degree. But you will be employed full-time with us while you learn! You will be a valued team member doing important work. \n\nWith the support of an IG personal mentor, you will learn via a mix of classroom and workplace-based training and assessment. Initially, you will complete 1 day per week of classroom/university learning and 4 days per week in the workplace with IG. Work and lecture time balance may adjust as you progress through your degree. \n\nYou will work within 3-week sprints and attend daily stand-ups and end-of-sprint meetings. Throughout your GA, you will work across different tech teams (support, testing, development) to gain a broad range of experience and exposure to the Microsoft technology stack. What are we looking for in our ideal candidate? \n\nWe are searching for future developers, DevOps engineers and infrastructure specialists who want to learn valuable tech and coding skills using the latest Microsoft tools â and ultimately hope to join us in a permanent role after graduating. \n\nWe are, therefore, only seeking high-quality candidates who are eligible to attain entry to leading universities and recognise the benefits of this alternative, fast-tracked route to career success. \n\nEssential requirements \n\nYou must have achieved or will achieve in 2026, in a single sitting, a minimum of 5 B grades at SQA âHigherâ or 3 B grades at CGE âA Levelâ â including Maths. Ideally, you will also have studied Computer Science. (Note that successful applicants typically achieve grades well above this baseline â and are often âstraight Aâ students). \n\nYou must be eligible for SAAS funding and have lived in the UK continuously without a break for 3 years before the course start date, and EU applicants must have UK Settled Status. \n\nThe apprenticeship is based in Scotland, so you must be a resident in the country before the course start date to apply/be eligible. \n\nVerified Right to Work in the UK. \n\n \n\n
