Butler Ross are recruiting for multiple purchasing and procurement professionals from buyer - senior buyer - category manager level, for a global manufacturing organisation based in Staffordshire. The salaries for these positions range from £40,000 - £60,000 dependent on individual experience. There are positions available across multiple areas (indirects / NPI programmes) - which can be discussed during the application process.
Responsibilities are likely to include:
1. Adhering to purchasing policies and procedures and delivering in line with the sourcing strategy:
2. Effective early supplier engagement.
3. Cost Saving projects
4. Tendering
5. Contracting
6. Supplier performance reviews.
7. Summarising part availability. (NPI)
8. Co-ordination of launch readiness activities. (NPI)
9. Risk reporting & mitigation.
10. Project closure & review.
