We are looking for an experienced Engineering Team Manager to join our Pollington site, reporting to the Engineering Manager.
About the role:
* Lead site engineering teams to deliver engineering and production plans, ensuring service levels and strategy align with quality, safety, and cost standards.
* Implement and drive engineering strategies to improve reliability, quality, safety, and asset utilization.
* Apply best maintenance practices for SHE, capital programs, and maintenance care.
* Manage engineering systems, resources, and processes effectively.
* Support engineering planning to maintain manufacturing assets proactively.
* Oversee engineering stores systems to ensure critical spares availability and effective maintenance planning.
* Deliver engineering KPIs aligned with manufacturing performance and company objectives.
* Identify and implement best practices across the business, supporting continuous improvement.
* Coach and develop team members through performance management and personal development plans.
* Lead project management and change initiatives.
* Act as deputy for the Engineering Manager.
Candidate requirements:
* Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications (apprenticeship)
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in medium/large automated manufacturing environments
* Experience leading engineering teams
* IOSH Managing Safely / NEBOSH General Certificate
* Experience with CMMS and stock control systems
* Familiarity with engineering KPIs
* Project management and change delivery experience (desired)
* Knowledge of OEE (advantageous)
* Skills in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, Problem-Solving, 5S, SMED
