Production Manager | Fashion & Garment Manufacturing
We’re working with a well-established and growing fashion business to recruit a confident and experienced Production Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and enjoys taking ownership of end-to-end production.
Our client is looking for a highly organised, methodical individual with a clear communication style and proven experience managing overseas garment production.
The Role
As Production Manager, you’ll act as the key link between the UK team and international factories, ensuring production runs smoothly, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Acting as the main point of contact between the UK office and overseas factories
* Managing garment production across multiple retailers
* Overseeing orders across factories in Sri Lanka, Morocco and Bangladesh
* Regular travel to international factories
* Ensuring all production stays on schedule and deadlines are met
* Tracking the progress of all orders through each stage of production
* Managing and adjusting production schedules to meet demand
* Troubleshooting and resolving production issues efficiently
* Supporting global customs clearance processes for garments and components
* Communicating any delays or issues to account managers and retailers
* Ensuring factory compliance with retailer standards and overseeing audits
* Issuing clear production instructions and dockets to factories
* Managing and supporting a Production Coordinator
About You
* Proven experience in a Production Manager (or similar) role within fashion/garment manufacturing
* Strong organisational skills with a highly methodical approach
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage international stakeholders
* Experience working with factories across Sri Lanka, Morocco and Bangladesh (or similar regions)
* A proactive problem-solver who can manage competing priorities
* Willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis
