About the Role
As an Electrical / Instrument Technician, you’ll play a key role within the site engineering team, maintaining and improving a wide range of plant equipment and systems—including LV electrical distribution, process control systems, boilers, compressors, HVAC, and utilities. Responsibilities include planned preventive maintenance, fault finding, and supporting capital projects such as installation and commissioning activities. You’ll ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legislative standards, drive continuous improvement in asset care, reliability, and productivity, support operators, contribute to performance metrics, and use system data to optimise site operations.
Qualifications
* Electrical or Controls/Instrumentation engineering background with solid experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong technical knowledge across electrical systems, instrumentation, and control; ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and P&IDs.
* Experience using maintenance systems such as SAP; confident working with data and committed to safe systems of work.
* Exposure to PCS7, functional safety systems, and continuous improvement methodologies is desirable.
* Ownership mindset, collaborative working style, passion for maintaining high safety, quality, and performance standards.
