Worcestershire Regulatory Services is a partnership of the six Worcestershire district councils providing environmental health, licensing and regulatory services across the county, hosted by Bromsgrove District Council and located at offices in Kidderminster. We are looking to recruit three experienced and enthusiastic Food Safety Technical/Senior Technical Officers to join our hard-working Community Environmental Health team as we continue to increase our capacity in food safety enforcement. The team is co-located with the County Council’s Trading Standards service, delivered with officers working closely with Trading Standards colleagues. The role is to provide food safety interventions in meeting the Food Standards Agency Food Law Code of Practice across the whole of the county. To be successful you should be able to deal with a wide range of different customers and stakeholders as we are looking to engage with a wide range of partners. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise your workload and work to the strict deadlines that come with this role. The successful candidate will be a competent professional and have significant experience in food safety enforcement activity.
