What you’ll be doing:

* Provide privacy advice to strategic change programmes via DPIAs, papers/presentations and attendance at project meetings, highlighting risks and their potential impact while working with stakeholders on mitigating actions.
* Design/review/enhance data privacy processes (and supporting templates/documentation) that help the Data Privacy Compliance Framework such as breach management, individual rights, DPIAs.
* You may be required to design bespoke DP risk processes/templates, tailored to initiatives/teams’ circumstances/requirements.
* Keep all documentation up-to-date, clear and accessible to facilitate cross-team working.
* Organisation and communication skills (written and verbal) are imperative.
* Propose solutions to process inefficiencies and act to remediate, seeking feedback from AXA UK Data Protection teams but also sometimes working with other teams and proposing change with wider impacts.
* Participate in discussions with the AXA UK Data Protection team, providing views on technical questions based on extensive knowledge of DP law/regulatory requirements (kept up-to-date by regular horizon scanning) and experience.
* Review Data Protection clauses with third party providers and corporate clients (unlikely to be a major part of role, but may be required on occasion).
