We’re helping a fantastic specialist school in North Tyneside find passionate individuals to join them as Trainee SEND Support Workers. This is your chance to gain valuable experience working with children with special educational needs, including autism, while being supported by an experienced team.
You’ll play a key role in helping pupils develop independence, confidence, and communication skills. No two days are the same—and every small win feels big.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing tailored support to children with SEND, including autism, both in and out of the classroom
Assisting pupils with their learning, helping them access activities and routines
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support each child’s progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
