Job Description
Your new company
Do you have a passion for working with a purpose-driven organisation that is reducing its impact on climate change? They have been operating for over 8 years and have helped shape the industry they operate in.
Your new role
This organisation has identified skill gaps within the team and is looking to onboard a candidate who can operate with a high degree of autonomy and deliver on fast-paced timelines across supply chain, inventory, and logistics management. You will manage the supply chain and logistics of goods and services, ensuring the right product reaches the right location at the right time while minimising inventory levels. Additionally, you will liaise with marketing, suppliers, and warehouse teams. You will also control the supplier onboarding process and work closely with the requestor, Legal, HSQE, InfoSec, and Finance business units.
What you'll need to succeed
Relevant qualifications in supply chain and logistics such as a university degree, MCIPS, or CILT. Demonstrating relevant experience will also suffice. Sector experience in complex manufacturing, construction, and/or energy is strongly preferred. You must be able to demonstrate relevant supply chain and logistics knowledge and experience from previous roles.
What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available.
Ad hoc commute to Swindon office.
Competitive day rate, with Umbrella or PAYE options available.
Initially a 3-month contract, likely to be extended.
