We require relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent experience. We are looking for experience with VMware infrastructure. We require knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects. We require experience with Exchange hybrid environments. We require knowledge of networks and VLANs. We require cloud Office 365 support experience. We require proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. We require experience with system administration and IT security practices. We require experience with remote assistance tools such as PDQ, LogMeIn, or TeamViewer. We require excellent communication and customer service skills. We require at least 2 years of desktop support experience. We require the right to work in the United Kingdom. A bachelors degree is preferred. Responsibilities: We maintain core IT systems, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and business-critical applications. We provide Level 2 technical support to users, including desktop and remote support. We provide Level 3 infrastructure support and escalate where appropriate. We install, configure, and upgrade computer systems, applications, and software. We manage user lifecycle processes by provisioning new starters and deprovisioning leavers across relevant systems. We maintain data security and support compliance with internal and external standards. We support ongoing Cyber Essentials Plus compliance and help ensure security controls remain effective. We monitor system performance, identify risks, and implement preventative measures to reduce downtime. We manage IT resources, including hardware, software, licenses, and asset lifecycles.
